Title Drop-off

Dealers can drop off work during our normal business hours. The standard turnaround processing time is 72 hours.

*Appointments are reserved for individuals completing a transaction for themselves or a family member. If you make an appointment, it will be canceled upon arrival and you will be issued a standard ticket. If you have more than the number of transactions during the processing times stated above you will be required to go to the end of the line after each batch. Dealers must be signed in before 3 PM in order to process transactions the same business day.

Supply Pick-up

Supplies may be picked up on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 11 am and from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Travis County Property Assessed Clean Energy Program (PACE)

PACEsmall

PACE is an innovative financing program that enables commercial, industrial, large multi-family, and agricultural property owners to obtain low-cost, long-term financing for water conservation, energy- efficiency, and renewable energy projects. The alcoholic beverage industry in Texas is regulated by The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC). Rules related to Tax Collector billings for beer, wine and liquor licenses can also be found on the TABC website.

Please note:

  • We collect fees for Travis County and the City of Austin
  • All permits have a 2 year lifespan
  • Liquor permit fees are collected yearly and must be paid to remain valid
  • Beer permit fees are paid in 2 year increments

Fee Charts

The collection of fees for establishments that serve beer and wine is governed by Title 3, Subtitle B - Chapter 61, Subchapter A - Section 61.36 of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, which states that: "(a)The governing body of an incorporated city or town may levy and collect a fee not to exceed one-half of the state fee for each license, except a temporary or agent's beer license, issued for premises located within the city or town. The commissioner's court of a county may levy and collect a fee equal to one-half the state fee for each license, except a temporary or agent's beer license, issued for premises located within the county..."

Travis County and the City of Austin are authorized to collect up to 1/2 the total state fees for the 2-year period

Statutes

Beer

The collection of fees for establishments that sell beer is governed by Section 61.36 of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, which states that: "(a) The governing body of an incorporated city or town may levy and collect a fee not to exceed one-half of the state fee for each license, except a temporary or agent's beer license, issued for premises located within the city or town. The commissioners court of a county may levy and collect a fee equal to one-half the state fee for each license, except a temporary or agent's beer license, issued for premises located within the county."

Liquor

The collection of fees for establishments that sell liquor is governed by Section 11.38 of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, which states that: "(a) The governing body of a city or town may levy and collect a fee not to exceed one-half the state fee for each permit issued for premises located within the city or town. The commissioners court of a county may levy and collect a fee equal to one-half of the state fee for each permit issued for premises located within the county." Exemptions include: "(1)agent's, airline beverage, passenger train beverage, industrial, carrier's, private carrier's, private club registration, local cartage, storage, and temporary wine and beer retailer's permits;(2) a wine and beer retailer's permit issued for a dining, buffet, or club car; and (3) a mixed beverage permit during the three-year period following the issuance of the permit."
