The Travis County Tax Office invites all county residents 18 years of age and older to make a difference in their community by registering voters.
Texas law requires residents to take a free, one-hour training course that ends with the swearing in of participants as volunteer deputy registrars, the designation required to register voters. The tax office
schedules monthly trainings throughout the county.
Trainings posted in the events section at www.Facebook.com/TravisCountyTaxOffice. The tax office asks that people sign up for the trainings to ensure there are enough training materials.
Registering voters is a nonpartisan activity.
