A Fine is part of the punishment for a violation of the law. State Mandated Court Fees are part of the expense of legally processing your case.

Failure to pay your fine and court costs in a timely manner can result in additional fines, fees and court costs, denial of the renewal of your drivers license, arrest and confinement.

General Processing

    • If you cannot pay in full today, you must complete an application.
    • You may report to Travis County Central Collections, 5501 Airport Blvd or you may submit this application online.
    • The information on your application will be verified by Travis County Central Collections.
    • Incomplete or inaccurate information will delay your processing.
    • You must be interviewed. During the interview, terms for payment will be established. Standard terms established by the Justices of the Peace are 50% paid within 48 hours, 80% paid within 30 days and 100% paid within 60 days.
    • Your application will be processed in the order in which it is received. Your patience is appreciated. If the application is submitted online, then a representative from Travis County Central Collections will contact you in the order in which it is received.
    • All of your questions about the payment of your Court Fees and Fine should be answered before you leave. The time to clear up any questions is during the interview.
    • Be sure you receive a receipt for your payment.

This office accepts cash, personal and cashier’s checks and money orders. Discover Card, Master Card, American Express and Visa is accepted with a 3% or minimum $3.00 convenience fee.
